Privacy Policy

This policy reflects what our platform actually collects and how it's used, based on our real database and backend implementation. Have it reviewed by a lawyer before accepting real customer data, especially if you plan to serve guests outside India (GDPR and other regional laws may apply).

1. What we collect

When you subscribe to OdaBookings, we collect: your property's name and contact details, staff account information (name, email, role), and billing information processed securely through Razorpay (we do not store your card details ourselves).

When your guests book through your OdaBookings-powered widget, we store: guest name, phone/email, booking dates, and payment status — this data belongs to you (see our Terms of Service, Section 3) and is used solely to operate your booking system.

2. How we use it

To operate the booking, housekeeping, payroll, and invoicing features of the Service;
To send automated booking confirmations, cancellations, and thank-you messages on your behalf;
To process your subscription billing;
To improve the Service and respond to support requests.

We do not sell your data or your guests' data to third parties.

3. Data security

Every property's data is isolated at the database level using Row-Level Security, meaning one subscriber's bookings and financial records are never accessible to another subscriber, even in the event of an application-level bug. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.

4. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, you may request a full export or deletion of your data by contacting us.

5. Third-party services

We use Razorpay for payment processing and Railway/Vercel for hosting infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting hello@odabookings.com.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email.
